Product details

Background & context

The British Army used a simple system: the shape showed the squadron (diamond for headquarters, triangle for A, square for B, circle for C), and the colour showed the regiment's seniority within its brigade. Divisional troops and regiments not assigned to a brigade, such as armoured car and armoured reconnaissance regiments, carried their signs in white. They were painted large on the turret side and hull front so that they stayed recognisable on the move.

On the tabletop

For British tank regiments that were not attached to a brigade, this sheet provides the tactical shape signs in white. The light sign stands out clearly even on dark camouflage. Placed large on the turret side and hull front, it assigns your Bolt Action tanks clearly to their regiment and stays readable from playing distance.
