    Background & context

    On the tabletop

In May 1940 Belgium's Chasseurs Ardennais were to delay the German advance through the Ardennes until the French army could react. At Bodange a single company held out for a whole day against the 1st Panzer Division. In Bolt Action you use the squad to occupy a woodland edge, a village or a roadblock and force the attacker to lose time. When painting, you can pick out the boar's head on the beret as the unit's badge.
