Product details

Background & context

The Belgian platoon drew on a colourful mix of home-grown and bought-in equipment. The 50mm Lance DBT launcher was a compact close-support weapon that could deliver up to twenty rounds a minute at short range. The Fusil Mle 1935 with a telescopic sight fitted served as the sniper's weapon. Against tanks there was the Boys rifle supplied from Great Britain, carried on the Belgian books as the Fusil Antichar Boys Mark I, which could still achieve something against the thinly armoured early-war German types.

On the tabletop

These three two-man teams give a Belgian platoon in Bolt Action its specialists for early-war games. The 50 mm Lance DBT mortar fires in an arc over cover and puts pressure on enemies in trenches and behind walls. With the scoped Fusil Mle 1935, your sniper picks out single important targets at long range. The Boys anti-tank rifle is effective against the thinly armoured German tanks of the first war years. Three order dice are included.
