    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    In the spring of 1940, the Belgian army possessed a range of specialized infantry weapons that allowed them to concentrate tactical firepower at the platoon and company level. The light 50mm Lance DBT mortar provided a compact close support weapon, firing at a high rate of up to 20 rounds per minute. Snipers, equipped with the optically sighted Fusil Mle 1935, were responsible for engaging individual key personnel in combat. The British Boys anti-tank rifle - designated as Le Fusil Antichar Boys Mark I in Belgian units - offered an effective defense against the lightly armored vehicles of the early war years.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    Specialized weapon teams are among the most tactically versatile units in Bolt Action, allowing you to pressure the enemy on multiple levels simultaneously. The sniper team is particularly well-suited to threatening enemy key figures, thereby restricting the opponent's room for maneuver. The light mortar provides indirect fire against entrenched positions and can be used equally effectively in both defensive and offensive scenarios. The anti-tank rifle team secures the flanks against lightly armored vehicles and reconnaissance units. Together, the three teams form a compact support package that adds significant tactical depth to a Belgian army list.
