Description

Product details

Background & context

With its 47mm gun, the Fonderie Royale de Canons in Herstal supplied a weapon that in 1940 penetrated any German tank at combat range. The problem was numbers. Eighteen days of the Western campaign were not enough to bring the few vehicles to where they were needed. Anyone playing Belgium on the gaming table fights with exactly this imbalance: good guns, far too few of them.

On the tabletop

In Bolt Action you field this vehicle as a tank hunter for a Belgian army in the 1940 western campaign. At the time the 47 mm FRC gun could penetrate any German tank at normal combat range, and the light tracked chassis makes it more mobile than a towed gun. The open vehicle is a small target but offers little protection. Keep it in cover on the axis where you expect the German tanks to appear. It can also be used in Achtung Panzer! games.
