Product details

Background & context

The Bedford QL series was the standard British lorry of the Second World War, and the QLT troop version carted everything to wherever it was needed. There was no armour, only a canvas tilt against the weather and a Bren gun for self-defence. In return the lorry ran reliably through desert sand, Norman mud and Dutch dyke roads. Wherever there were British soldiers, a Bedford was close by.

On the tabletop

The Bedford QLT takes your British infantry to the front by lorry in Bolt Action. The included seated infantry figures ride in the back, and you can build the canvas tilt in several configurations. The lorry has no armour and historically carried at most a Bren gun for self-defence, so drop your squads off behind cover. It served everywhere from desert sand through Normandy mud to the dyke roads of the Netherlands.
