Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Three squires and 21 randomly selected clubmen give you 24 figures for a band of countrymen in Pike & Shotte. From 1644, such men in south-west England and Wales stood up to both warring sides whenever troops plundered their land. With flails, scythes, clubs and a few old muskets you field them as an undrilled mob led by the squires. You can also refight Hambledon Hill in 1645, where one such band met Cromwell's dragoons.
