    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    Band of Brothers depicts the fighting in Western Europe after the Allied landing in Normandy in 1944. US Airborne units were dropped behind German lines as part of Operation Overlord and fought against Wehrmacht grenadiers, who formed the backbone of the German infantry in the late phase of the war. Half-track vehicles such as the M3A1 and the Sd.Kfz. 251 characterized the mechanized combat of both sides and transported infantry close to the front. The set thus depicts a classic Late War scenario in the Western European theater.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    The included models allow for immediate beginner-friendly games on the tabletop. Infantry and vehicles can be combined to represent movement, fire support, and mission objectives. Terrain and a game mat structure the playing field and enable varied Bolt Action scenarios.
