Product details

Background & context

The Autoblinda originated as a scout car for colonial police and cavalry and from 1941 became the most important Italian reconnaissance vehicle in the desert of North Africa. Four-wheel drive, a second driving position for reversing and suitable sand tyres made it mobile in open country. The turret matched that of the L6/40 light tank and carried a 20 mm cannon. The AB41 gave rise to the later AB43, which after the armistice of 1943 was driven almost exclusively by German formations.

On the tabletop

The AB41 is the standard armoured car of your Italian army in Bolt Action. Its 20 mm turret gun engages infantry and light vehicles, and thanks to four-wheel drive and a second driving position it can drive off forwards or backwards. From 1941 it was the most important Italian reconnaissance vehicle in the North African desert. A stat card, decals and damage markers are included, and Achtung Panzer! is supported too.
