    Background & context

    On the tabletop

Chocos, chocolate soldiers, was what the AIF volunteers called the Australian militia, which could only serve in Australia and its mandated territories. Yet on the Kokoda Track in 1942 it was these men who first stood in the way of the Japanese army. The section consists of an NCO with a submachine gun, seven riflemen and a Lewis gun team that gives it firepower at range. In Bolt Action you use it to hold positions in the jungle of New Guinea.
