    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

The Armadillo is a stopgap vehicle for your British army of 1940, when Britain was left almost without heavy equipment after Dunkirk. In Bolt Action it fits scenarios about defending an airfield, crewed by the ground staff. The double-walled wooden box filled with gravel stops rifle fire but offers little protection against heavier weapons. It is a vehicle for narrative games about the invasion threat of those months.
