Hintergrund & Einordnung

The Bedford QL was a British 3-ton 4x4 truck series for the armed forces of World War II. Production started in 1941 and ran until 1945; a total of 52,240 Bedford QLs were built. The QLT variant was designed as a troop carrier and was produced in more than 3,300 units from August 1941 until the end of the war. It served British and Commonwealth forces as a motorized infantry transporter.
