Hintergrund & Einordnung

The Bedford QL was a series of trucks developed by Bedford for the British Armed Forces in World War II. Following a request from the British War Office, a 3-ton 4x4 General Service Truck was developed; the prototype was ready in February 1940, and series production began in March 1941. The QL series was produced from 1941 to 1945 and was Bedford's first vehicle series specifically built for the military. The QLD variant was the general cargo truck and the most numerous version of the series.

The Bedford QLD Cargo Truck is a British/Commonwealth supply, material and transport truck. In-game, it transports units or scenario cargo to key locations, but remains unarmored. It is a universal support vehicle for many British WWII armies.
