    Beschreibung

    The A15 Crusader was one of the most important British Cruiser Tanks of the early Second World War and particularly closely associated with the North African Campaign. The Rubicon plastic kit contains 70 parts on 3 sprues and allows for the construction of six Crusader variants.

    These include the Mk I, Mk II, Mk III, CS variants, and AA versions. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; ABS glue is required.

    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The Cruiser Mk VI or A15 Crusader was one of the most important British cruiser tanks in the early phase of World War II. Rubicon describes it as perhaps the most important British tank of the North African campaign, whose mobility made it popular with British crews. With the later 6-pounder armament, it could more effectively counter early Panzer III and Panzer IV tanks. After the North African campaign, the Crusader was replaced in front-line roles by the Sherman and Cromwell and continued to serve in secondary roles such as anti-aircraft or recovery vehicle conversions.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    In the game, the A15 Crusader is suitable for rapid flanking maneuvers, reconnaissance, and flexible fire support. Light tanks and scout vehicles should utilize their mobility rather than seeking prolonged head-on engagements. In Bolt Action / Achtung Panzer! / Chain of Command, the model complements infantry and heavier vehicles through speed, mission pressure, and responsiveness. The tags follow the buildable variants and historical operational profile.
