Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

The Kanone 81/2 is a heavy German anti-tank gun for actions of 1944 and 1945 in 28 mm scale. The improvised carriage was heavy and hard to move, so you are best off siting the gun well back with a long field of fire. From there the 12.8 cm barrel threatens even heavily armoured vehicles at long range. Infantry placed in front protects the crew against close assault, because a quick change of position is hardly possible.
