Product details

Background & context

After the campaign in France the Wehrmacht doubled the number of its Panzer divisions by splitting existing formations and converting infantry divisions. The new numbers 8 to 19 went east almost as a body in 1941 and were ground down there over the years. Their tactical signs were kept deliberately simple, because they still had to be recognisable under mud and dust.

On the tabletop

The 8th to 19th Panzer Divisions came from the wave raised after the campaign in France and went east almost as a body in 1941. Their tactical signs on this sheet are therefore the natural choice for the vehicles of an Eastern Front army. One set of signs per hull is enough; take turret numbers from a separate sheet. Apply the decals after painting and seal them with varnish.
