Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Four hearthguards represent a jarl's household troops in Hail Caesar, men who ate in his hall and were equipped by him. Because they served all year round they wore mail and carried good weapons, so they belong in the front rank of your shield wall. You can also add them as experienced fighters to an existing Viking unit. How long this core held often decided the whole battle.
