Product details

Background & context

Where the US Army holds ground in Konflikt '47, Tesla technology is not confined to tanks. Decommissioned or damaged Sherman-T turrets are mounted on concrete bases to secure airfields, depots and bridgeheads, connected to generators that feed the coils' appetite for power. Unlike a conventional bunker, such a position needs no ammunition supply, only electricity - and that is exactly what makes fuel stores and cable runs the weak point an enemy attacks first. On the gaming table the piece tells this story: firepower without mobility, vulnerable through its supply.

On the tabletop

A Sherman T turret on a masonry base, set into an earth bank with drums and cables, forms a fixed US Tesla position in Konflikt '47. Use it to guard an airfield, a depot or a bridgehead on your table. The Tesla cannon is effective against vehicles and, dispersed, against infantry, but only at short range. For the enemy the emplacement becomes a target that has to be knocked out.
