The Mudskipper is the heavier answer to the needs of the US Jump Battalions - a more massive walker that provides true firepower for jump infantry advancing into enemy territory. The M2A1 variant exchanges the arm-mounted .50 cal machine guns for anti-tank missiles, becoming a serious threat to enemy vehicles and walkers alike.

Hintergrund & Einordnung

As part of the technological upheavals of World War II triggered by Tesla research, the USA developed increasingly heavier platforms alongside its lighter jumpwalkers to increase the firepower of mobile infantry units. The Mudskipper was created in response to the need of the so-called Jump Battalions, which urgently required additional combat power during advances on enemy positions. The design combines a weight-optimized chassis with specially designed damping systems that absorb the stresses of jump maneuvers. The M2A1 variant dispenses with the original .50-cal machine guns and instead uses rocket-propelled anti-tank weapons, which significantly expands the walker's operational capabilities.

US Mudskipper Jump Walker is a Conflict '47 jump walker for the United States and The British Commonwealth factions. On the tabletop, it provides rapid repositioning, pressure on mission objectives, and flexible fire support. The optional M2A1 anti-tank missile variant further justifies its anti-tank role.
