The Type 6 Ke-Ho - dubbed “Sasori” (Scorpion) by its crews - is Japan's answer to the demands of modern reconnaissance in the '47-verse conflict: compact design, quiet engine, and high off-road capability make it the ideal advance vehicle. Later versions carry an additional crew member and can be equipped with a light anti-tank gun or a rapid-firing light compression cannon.

Hintergrund & Einordnung

In the fictional conflict known as the '47-Universe, light combat walkers served as the swift link between traditional infantry support and mechanized reconnaissance. Japanese engineering pursued its own unique development path, prioritizing a more compact design, reduced noise emissions, and high off-road capability. Early design phases were influenced by technology transfer with the German Reich, but this did not diminish the independent character of Japanese walker development. The nickname "Sasori" - Scorpion - was coined by the crews and quickly found its way into the language of both allied and enemy forces alike.
