    Product details

    Background & context

Tuvia, Asael and Zus Bielski fled the Nowogródek ghetto in 1941 for the Naliboki forest and built a camp there that in the end sheltered over 1,200 people. Unlike most partisan groups, they put the survival of families, the elderly and children above any tally of blown-up railway lines. Their unit held out until the Red Army advanced in 1944. The film Defiance made the story known to a wide audience in 2008.

    On the tabletop

Tuvia, Asael and Zus Bielski led Jewish partisans in the Naliboki forests from 1941. In Bolt Action you field the three resin figures in a partisan army as platoon commanders or NCOs. Rules for the brothers can be found in the Bolt Action Compendium. With their civilian clothes and captured weapons they match partisan squads from other boxes, for example in scenarios set in occupied Poland up to the Red Army's advance in 1944.
