Product details

Background & context

Bridges are important choke points in historical battles because they concentrate movement over waterways or obstacles. On the gaming table, a bridge creates a natural tactical center and forces units into clear decisions. The classic stone construction suits many European and colonial scenarios.

On the tabletop

This single-arched stone bridge crosses a river, ditch or railway line and so nearly always becomes an objective. One side has to take it, the other to hold or destroy it, while troops without it must wade or go the long way round. Since bridges were fought over from the early modern period to Arnhem, it works in many periods. The plastic kit is quick to build.
