Product details

Background & context

Danach ging Spartas Vormacht in Griechenland verloren.

On the tabletop

With 40 Spartan hoplites in pilos helmets you can field several phalanx units of a Lacedaemonian army in Hail Caesar. In the phalanx the closed line of shield and spear was what counted, and that is how you place the Spartans in the centre of your line, where they pin the enemy front. Lambda decals and arrows for decorating shields and bases are included. Suitable periods are the Persian Wars, the Peloponnesian War and the fighting up to Leuctra.
