Beschreibung

The Zvukovoy Projector unleashes powerful energy pulses that can take out entire groups of enemies with a single shot - even crewmen in armoured vehicles are affected. The pulse rapidly decays in the atmosphere, but once a target is hit, even the thickest armour is useless. As a separate turret, the T-34/ZP turret gives Soviet-Bloc players the flexibility to upgrade existing T-34 models or use the weapon as a static defence emplacement.

Hintergrund & Einordnung

In the '47 conflict universe, the T-34 was one of the world's best medium tanks even before the Rifts. After significant portions of the original stock were lost in battle, the Red Army urgently needed a replacement for Stalin's symbol. On the reliable T-34 chassis, Rift scientists equipped a new generation of tanks with the Zvukovoy Projector - the T-34/ZP could disable entire platoons with one shot, thus remaining at the forefront of the medium tank class. Deployed in support of heavy assault regiments, the T-34/ZP acts as a mobile shock platform: it breaks through enemy defenses before its own infantry arrives. The separate turret allows players to convert existing T-34 models or use the weapon as a fixed gun emplacement, which starts with an Immobilized status and is therefore primarily used in defensive scenarios.

Einsatz im Spiel

The Soviet T-34/ZP Turret is a resin/metal conversion kit for the Warlord plastic T-34-85. In the game, the T-34/ZP complements Soviet lists as a mobile medium sound suppression platform - faster and more agile than the KV-ZP. The turret alone does not provide a playable unit - the buyer will need a separate T-34 body. Ideal as an inexpensive expansion for players with an existing T-34 collection who want to include multiple ZP tanks in their list.
