Product details

Background & context

Through espionage, interrogated prisoners and defecting researchers the Soviet Union got hold of the foundations of the German super-soldier programme and built something of its own from them. The declared aim was banal: soldiers the Siberian winter cannot harm. What came out is an antifreeze compound in the blood that rebuilds the metabolism and destroys more than it protects in the process. Those who survive it feel neither cold nor flames and attack without hesitation, and in the field these units are now known only as Ghouls.

On the tabletop

The five ghouls of the Siberian Terror Squad are a fast close-combat unit of the Soviet Bloc in Konflikt '47. A kind of antifreeze in their blood makes them immune to cold and fire, and their freezing touch harms the enemy at once. You move them quickly forward into the enemy lines without having to fear flame weapons. In close combat they wreak havoc among enemy infantry.
