Product details

Background & context

In Konflikt '47, the alternate war year of 1947, infantry of every great power wears heavy powered armour. The Soviet version follows the Red Army way: plain, rugged and functional. The first Mk I model protects well but makes its wearer slow. The Mk II improved mobility, and in this platoon both generations fight side by side.

On the tabletop

The officer and the two veterans with assault rifles form the platoon command. The ten heavy infantry in Mk I are slower but very tough and advance as an armoured block on the enemy line. The eight Guards in the more mobile Mk II follow behind or push in on a flank. The result is an assault platoon that draws enemy fire and attacks positions at close range.
