Um 1200 v. Chr. gerät die Welt des östlichen Mittelmeers ins Rutschen: Ugarit brennt, das Hethiterreich zerfällt, Ägypten kämpft an der eigenen Küste. Die Reliefs von Medinet Habu zeigen Ramses III. im Gefecht gegen fremde Seefahrer mit Federhauben und Rundschilden - Peleset, Schekelesch, Scherden. Ob Invasoren, Flüchtlinge oder Söldner, ist bis heute offen. Für den Tisch heißt das: freie Hand bei Look und Geschichte deiner Kriegerschar.

On the tabletop

In Hail Caesar these four command figures on foot turn your Sea Peoples warriors into a led unit. Around 1200 BC Ugarit burned, the Hittite empire fell apart and Egypt fought on its own coast. The reliefs at Medinet Habu show Ramesses III against seafarers with feathered headdresses and round shields, such as the Peleset, Shekelesh and Sherden, which serve as your painting reference. Opponents can be found in Egypt or among the Hittites. The figures are metal.
