Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Eight Saxon slingers bring cheap but sustained missile fire to your war band in Hail Caesar. Slings were less deadly than bows but easy to use, and ammunition lay everywhere along the way. Let the unit skirmish in front of your shield wall, pelt the approaching enemy and pull it back behind your own line before melee begins. Herdsmen and hunters brought this weapon with them whenever they were called to the levy.
