Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

The six horse archers in this metal pack form a compact Sarmatian unit for mounted missile fire. In Hail Caesar you use them to field steppe cavalry of your own or to give a Dacian army fast shooters. Trajan's Column shows such horse archers next to heavily armoured lancers, and together with the cataphracts of the range you can recreate exactly that mix. Later, Sarmatian units also served as Roman auxiliaries.
