Product details

Background & context

Wherever people store goods, trade or supply an army, sacks lie around: grain, flour, salt, wool. It is exactly these supplies that most tables lack; the buildings are there, but they look uninhabited. A few stacks against the barn wall or beside the cart tell you at once what the place is for. For looting scenarios they are, on top of that, the most obvious mission objective you can set up.

On the tabletop

Put these 52 hessian sacks in barns, mills, stables and storerooms so those buildings look in use. Pile the 24 stackable sacks against a wall or beside a cart and scatter the 28 single ones loose. As a village's provisions they become a target in raiding scenarios. Sacks fit the Middle Ages just as well as the Wild West or later periods.
