Product details

Background & context

The Scottish Covenanters arose from resistance to King Charles I's interference in Scottish ecclesiastical affairs. Their armies played an important role in the Bishops' Wars and the British Civil Wars and were often well-equipped and religiously motivated. The casualty markers reflect this conflict framework for Pike & Shotte Epic Battles.

On the tabletop

Blue bonnets mark these 18 fallen figures in Warlord Resin Plus as Scottish Covenanters. In Pike & Shotte place them next to your regiments from the Bishops' Wars and the British Civil Wars once they take losses. They suit the march on Newcastle in 1640, Marston Moor in 1644 and the war against Montrose in Scotland.
