Hintergrund & Einordnung

As Commonwealth forces in the alternative timeline of Konflikt '47 became increasingly reliant on American Lend-Lease walkers, concerns about this dependence grew. Rising tensions between the two nations made independent development urgently necessary. British engineers used the M8 Grizzly patterns studied in Bovington as a starting point but developed an independent design - optimized for the integration of automated assistance systems and the new generation of Tesla cannons. The Percival thus stands for the technological independence of the Commonwealth and its growing ambition as an independent military power.
