Product details

Background & context

The war in the Pacific was seldom fought in cities. The fighting was over airstrips, plantations and a few dozen huts of timber and corrugated iron that together passed for a village. Such buildings could not withstand fire, but they were the only cover to be found between beach and jungle, which is why engagements regularly concentrated in exactly those places. On the gaming table a small building takes on the same role: an anchor around which the game arranges itself.

On the tabletop

Small huts of wood and corrugated iron often made up the entire village being fought over between beach and jungle. This small building from the Pacific Theatre range adds to settlements, camps and outposts. Its access points let you put figures inside, so a squad can occupy the house without the building blocking large parts of the table. The laser-cut kit comes with instructions.
