Product details

Background & context

On the islands of the Pacific war there were seldom built-up towns, but again and again there were individual larger buildings: plantation offices, mission stations, warehouses on the coast. Exactly such buildings became the fixed points of the fighting, because they alone offered a view, protection and storage space. Whoever held them often controlled the whole sector, and whoever wanted to take them paid for it.

On the tabletop

Build an island village or coastal outpost around this large building. As a plantation office, mission station or warehouse it offers a view and shelter, which makes it the objective both sides want to hold. Several access points let figures take up positions inside. The laser-cut MDF kit belongs to Skytrex's Pacific Theatre range and comes with instructions.
