Product details

Background & context

Mission stations, plantation houses and administrative buildings of the colonial era shaped the look of many places between the Philippines, New Guinea and the Solomons. Light construction, verandas and pile foundations were owed to the climate, not to combat, and nothing about them was bulletproof. Japanese garrisons nevertheless regularly turned such houses into strongpoints, because they were dry, offered a good view and were the only solid points for miles around.

On the tabletop

This intact L-shaped building stands in a village or outpost on a Pacific island. Several access points let you place figures inside, and the angled floor plan lets defenders cover two directions. As a mission station, plantation house or administrative building it suits fighting anywhere from the Philippines to New Guinea and the Solomons. The kit is laser-cut MDF and comes with instructions.
