Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Eight close-combat warriors from the upper Nile, nominally two of each type shown, represent warriors of early Nubian Bronze Age armies or Kushite forces of the early Iron Age in Hail Caesar. Use them as a melee unit that engages the enemy at close quarters rather than shooting at range. Kush was long Egypt's rival and enemy, and in the 8th century BC Kushite kings even ruled the country as the 25th Dynasty. The figures therefore fit armies fighting Egypt as well as a Kushite Egypt.
