Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Eight Norman crossbowmen give your war band in SAGA ranged fire with a hard punch. The crossbow required little training, only the strength to span it, and still achieved results comparable to the longbow. Use them to shoot at the enemy's deployment before your horsemen charge. After 1066 the crossbow soon became a fixed part of Norman forces, especially in sieges.
