    Background & context

    On the tabletop

The twelve mounted men-at-arms are the heavy cavalry of the late 15th century, built with lance, sword, mace, war hammer or axe and with horse armour if you wish. Seven horse head variants and plenty of arms and heads make sure no two riders look the same. Their charge is short and often decisive, but costly against formed pike blocks or ditches. Use them for Burgundian ordinance companies or the lances of Italian condottieri.
