Hintergrund & Einordnung

Konflikt '47 spielt eine Welt, in der 1945 ein missglücktes Rift-Experiment den Krieg nicht beendet, sondern neu befeuert hat. Großbritannien setzte darin früh auf Rechenmaschinen statt auf Rift-Biologie: erst die schlanken Mk-I-Automaten, dann die deutlich massigeren Mk II, deren Gehäuse Platz für mehr Rechenleistung und schwerere Läufe bot. Über kurze Funkstrecken gleichen sie ihre Zielrechnungen mit den kleineren Modellen ab und heben deren Trefferquote spürbar an.

Einsatz im Spiel

The Mk II Heavy Automated Infantry Squad is the heavy robot variant of the British Automated Infantry Program. With 2 Light Automatic Cannons + 1 Heavy Automatic Cannon, the Squad delivers concentrated anti-personnel and anti-vehicle firepower. In the game, the robots act as a tough support unit in British Automated lists, complemented by Mk I Automated Infantry and a Mk IIC Director HQ.
