Hintergrund & Einordnung

In the Konflikt '47 universe, the Mk I Automated Infantry are the workhorses of the British automated forces. Developed at Bletchley Park in response to the casualties of human soldiers in the early Rift conflicts, they combine Alan Turing's rudimentary AI with mass-producible mechanical construction. They are cheaply produced in large numbers and supplemented by the more expensive Mk IIs. With their standard MMG loadout, a Mk I unit delivers a massive volume of fire (around 30 dice per squad); upgrading to HMGs extends range and penetration. Thanks to Computational Systems and the "First Off the Line" special rule, they hit consistently - regardless of whether they are advancing or firing. Fearless makes them immune to Pin markers.

Einsatz im Spiel

The Mk I Automated Infantry is the 10-model plastic box from the British standard robot line. With weapon options for Medium Machine Gun and Heavy Machine Gun, the squad can be flexibly built as a regular line or as an MG support squad. In-game, the robots act as a tough defensive unit with no morale issues - ideal for players who want to build a massive automaton block in a British K47 list, supplemented by Mk II Heavy and a Director HQ.
