    Background & context

    MiG Alley was the name given by UN pilots to an area in northwest North Korea near the mouth of the Yalu River. There, Soviet-designed MiG-15 jets clashed with Allied aircraft, including the F-86 Sabre, during the Korean War. The official Warlord website lists the set in 1/200 scale and as Warlord Resin. The product brings the transition from propeller-driven dogfights to early jet air combat in Blood Red Skies.

    On the tabletop

    MiG Alley! takes Blood Red Skies from the propeller war into the jet age over Korea. Both sides are in the box: two MiG-15s, as flown by North Korea, China and unofficially Soviet pilots, and two F-86F Sabres of the UN squadrons that gave up their Mustangs for them. Aircraft cards, pilot discs and trait, doctrine and equipment cards make the set ready to play. With it you refight the air battles over north-western Korea along the Yalu, where two generations of jet fighters first met from late 1950. The Wing Commander compendium adds expanded rules for it.
