Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

With 40 multi-part phalangites you field the sarissa phalanx of a Macedonian army for Hail Caesar. At least eight ranks deep, the phalangites advanced steadily and lowered their pikes into a forest of points only shortly before reaching the enemy. From the front the block is almost impossible to break, but it is vulnerable on broken ground and on an open flank, so you protect it with cavalry and lighter troops. Shield decals are included.
