Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

The 27 phalangites let you build a block of the Macedonian phalanx, its long sarissas projecting forward from several ranks. On the table it pins the enemy from the front while your cavalry delivers the decisive blow on the flank. Keep the phalanx on level ground, as the rigid block struggles on broken terrain. Its opponents include Persians, Greek hoplites and, later, the Roman legions.
