Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Eight riders with the long xyston, including a command group, make up a complete unit of Companions for Hail Caesar. Alexander relied on this elite cavalry in all his battles and led it in person. On the tabletop it is your assault cavalry: the unit rides in a wedge, keeps lighter horsemen at bay with the long lance and strikes precisely into a gap in the enemy line. Opponents include Persians, Greeks, Scythians and Indian armies.
