    Product details

    Background & context

The M4A9(T) Sherman-T is the result of American engineering under time pressure: The Tesla cannon was integrated into the Sherman turret by removing the loader's position. Although this made operation more difficult in combat, the increased firepower was more than worth the compromises. Produced from May 1945, the Sherman-T has proven itself on all theaters of war. Rumors that crews are visible in the dark after serving in the Sherman-T are neither confirmed nor denied by the crews.

    On the tabletop

The M4A9-T combines a complete plastic Sherman with a resin turret carrying the M17 Tesla cannon. The weapon was developed to defeat heavy German and Soviet vehicles, so in American lists for Konflikt '47 you use it against armoured targets. Because the Sherman was already being built in huge numbers, the Tesla tank was quickly available and became a familiar sight in American units. Paint scheme and markings are up to you.
