The M46 Patton is a heavy US tank for Bolt Action Korea in 28mm/1:56 scale. The resin and metal kit includes a Heavy Tank with Stat Card, vehicle damage markers and coloured waterslide decals.

Historically, the M46 was used exclusively in US combat operations during the Korean War and proved its worth against North Korean T-34s. The models are supplied unassembled and unpainted.

Hintergrund & Einordnung

The M46 Patton was used by the USA in combat exclusively during the Korean War. The first M46s of the 6th Tank Battalion landed in South Korea on August 8, 1950, and proved to be an effective counter to North Korean T-34s. Although the US Armaments Board classified it as a medium tank, its combat power largely corresponded to that of the M26 Pershing and was supplemented by an improved 90mm cannon. Warlord describes its deployment, among other things, in the defense of the Pusan Perimeter and during the Inchon landings.

Einsatz im Spiel

In the game, the M46 Patton Heavy Tank forms an armoured combat unit for direct fire support and movement on mission objectives. The tank can accompany infantry, engage enemy vehicles, and exert pressure on central terrain sections. In Bolt Action, it is a flexible component for tank or combined arms battle groups.
