Product details

Background & context

The warriors of the late Ramesside period (19th and 20th Dynasties, c. 1295-1077 BC) shaped Egypt's late New Kingdom.

On the tabletop

Close fighters of the Ramesside period, the 19th and 20th Dynasties, carry a two-handed mace-axe and a shield in this pack. That heavy weapon was aimed at the enemy's shield and helmet, so in Hail Caesar the eight figures belong wherever the fighting turns hand-to-hand. Keep them behind your own line and send them forward once an enemy unit is pinned. They suit an army of Ramesses II at the time of Kadesh as well as the armies of the 20th Dynasty.
