Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

The 40 hoplites represent the armies of the Greek city states from around 450 BC to the death of Alexander. In Hail Caesar you lead them as a phalanx in the Peloponnesian War, on the expedition to Sicily, with Xenophon's mercenaries across Asia or at the Battle of Leuctra. Thracian, Phrygian and pilos helmets show the equipment of those decades. The metal arrows decorate shields and bases, and a decal sheet provides the shield designs.
