Product details

Background & context

During the Korean War, the Chinese People's Volunteers relied on a wide array of supporting infantry weapons drawn from various sources - Soviet supplies, captured Japanese equipment, and copied Western designs formed the foundation. Flamethrowers had already proven effective against fortified positions in the Second Sino-Japanese War and were also used on the Korean Peninsula. Light mortars provided even small units with organic indirect fire support at short ranges. The reverse-engineering of the American Bazooka demonstrated the adaptability of Chinese units in handling captured and adapted equipment.

On the tabletop

Super bazooka, flamethrower and light mortar join your Chinese force in Bolt Action as three two-man teams in Warlord Resin Plus. You aim the bazooka at tanks and fortified positions. The flamethrower drives defenders out of fortifications and can also be attached to an infantry or engineer squad. The light mortar fires in an arc over cover; later in the war the Chinese used a copy of the American 60 mm mortar for this.
