    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

For a British force in the Korean War, the 3-inch mortar is the battalion's high-angle weapon, and in Bolt Action a team for indirect fire. In the mountains targets often lie behind a ridge, which is exactly where the mortar hits when direct fire achieves nothing. The three figures wear summer kit and suit games in the hot season. Historically the crew often rode in a Universal Carrier, so that vehicle sits well alongside it.
