Product details

Background & context

Kimura Tadaaki was a test pilot for armoured walkers in the Imperial Army when, in 1946, a prototype with Ghost drive blew up under him. The Rift energy should have torn him apart; instead it made him invulnerable to everything physical and gave him the power to enter the space between, which his countrymen call the Spirit Realm. For a year he learned on Iwo Jima, with the scholars of the Empire, to rein in these powers. The armour he has worn since keeps the energy in check and deliberately quotes the old samurai: the man is weapon and symbol at once.

On the tabletop

Kimura Tadaaki leads the spirit forces of your Japanese army in Konflikt '47, with three Shinobi Shadows as his bodyguard. Since the explosion of a ghost-engine walker prototype in 1946 he has been immune to physical harm and able to enter the space between worlds that the Japanese call the Spirit Realm. On the table you field him as a hero figure with his bodyguard. His armour deliberately echoes the samurai of old.
